[Updating the site so that it works with current web technology.]
This site has an evolving purpose. Initially, Pietro set this up to support urban studies and planning courses taught at San Francisco State University and UC Berkeley. Now it also provides resources for urban planners in Afghanistan, both in government and at the universities. In 2017/2018 (1396) Pietro served as Senior Policy Advisor to the urban sector of the Afghan government. He will continue to provide resources to Afghan planners in thanks for that privilege.
Many of the pages on this site are designed in pairs, with the second page locked and only accessible to Pietro’s students. The first, openly accessible page explains each issue. On the locked pages contain links to academic journal articles and other copyrighted works and therefore cannot be made public.
