On August 15, 2021 the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan collapsed, and the Islamic Emirate was re-established. Since then, the Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit (http://www.areu.org.af) has gone offline. For 20 years the AREU consistently produced some of the best social-science research on Afghanistan, and provided both hardcopy and PDF versions of its publications for free.
I hope that social science and policy research on Afghanistan will continue. To assist in the resumption of social research, I am posting the AREU publications I had collected here. Sadly, I did not collect matched sets of publications in both English and Dari. Where I have them, I post English and Dari versions side-by-side.
